He definitely would have been revered as a hip hop icon/patron saint of gangster lore in rap...I've always maintained 50s draw was just much (if not more) bout his back story and image/persona as his much music. ..not to wish death on him or nothing, but him dying a violent death at the height of his run would've been the perfect end to his story and done wonders for his legacy. ..his career post massarce hasn't done him any favors in a historical sense... he'd have Ls to Kanye and Ross stricken from the record, doesn't suffer that embarrassing 4 or so year straight run desperately searching for a hit but flopping at every turn before being dropped off interscope... goes down as the biggest gangster in rap history instead of having his image softened over time as some kind of comedic troll who...never apologizes and kisses Jimmy iovines ass...never goes bankrupt
