this got me thinking about if this happened to most rappers

No disrespect to pac and big, but someone's legacy will be 10 times as big when they die. Big and Pac were both at their peaks. If Snoop got murdered around 1993, DMX around 2000, Eminem around 2002, your example of 50 cent in 2005, or Lil Wayne in 2008, they probably would've got the same recognition as Pac and Big, no disrespect to them, but every rapper who will get murdered on top of their game will have a much bigger legacy

if 50 got murdered in 2005 he'd definitely be GOAT status. His wave was huge. A lot more casuals than when Pac and Big were around.... the dikkriding had increased by 150%+ in those 8 years between deaths. GOAT status. Not saying I agree btw
