If 225 is the right of passage on the bench press what is it for squats??

people always leave out rows :aicmon: bench press will always be second to rows and even chins for upper body gains.

It's all relative to your size. How much you can bench or squat isn't a big deal, unless you are competing, then, it is a big deal because that is what wins you medals. In bodybuilding, you don't necessarily go for the one-time big max rep. It's not necessary.

I've always heard it as

225 Bench
315 Squat
405 Dead
Welp, I'm in there.

I'm trying to get to the 3/4/5 club...my bench is what's holding me back the most. :whew:

Won't ever get in this club.

My shoulder feels like its gonna pop out on the bench, so i just quit trying to go heavier. Most I ever put up was 245 on the barbell and 125/arm with dumbbells.

My dead topped out @460 a couple years ago but I'm in the process of still working on that.
