Although the Striker scene was sad, I thought the saddest scene was when they were stuffing all the mothers and children into the cars and people were shoving money into the faces of the driver

fukk this movie sets you up for a punch you think you can take. :to: You're laughing at the kids selling the TV and you know some :demonic:shyt is about to happen :lupe:and you're still not ready. :ld:Agu's relationship with Striker is one of the best part of the movie. :ohlawd:

I didn't like the pedo part either but I wouldn't say it wasn't needed

Agu changed after that.He started smoking, using that gun powder shyt, and became more ruthless after that

He basically became just like the rest of them to a certain extent

To me the scene helped show how the kids became savages

Hell,I didn't even realize how many of them young nikkas had that hat until Idris gave Agu one

It told me why Strika never talked and was depressed all the time

The scene where Strika was standing at the door waiting for Agu to come out was powerful as fukk.He knew what was gonna happen to him and was there waiting to console him after it happened

I actually picked up on the pedo shyt earlier though.Notice when they first capture Agu and he's sitting in the circle while they're eating and he asked for some food, one of the boys is called over to Idris tent and goes inside

I got a strong pedo vibe right then and there and the Agu scene just confirmed the boy who went in the tent got molested
I sadly picked that up too I didnt wanna believe it was going to happen and it did. Shyt made me emotional brehs no lie. As much as i dont agree with how our country is ran with all the racism and classism and all Honestly I wouldnt wanna be anywhere else. Great great sad depressing movie. it moved me. 5 stars.

Movie was kinda underwhelming, it did show how young Africans are manipulated into bad causes .alot of innocent lives lost
