Yeah, Beasts of No Nation, Luther, The Wire, plus he was in Thor, Avengers movies and Zootopia, getting that Disney money.

Luther’s first three seasons are great. I don’t know what happened with the last two, although Idris still delivered.

5 was better than 4, but that ending was bullshyt.

If you learned anything from Season 4, you know Luther without Alice is hot garbage. Then, in season 5, they have her kill the innocent black female cop before basically offing herself. I know she’s a psychopath and whatnot, but the first three seasons showed what seemed like a halfway redemptive arc for Alice. Yes, she killed her parents, but I don’t relate to them within the story nor do I know all of her reasons. Everyone else she killed (onscreen) was someone who deserved it. Season 5 turned that on its head and then to fukking end with Alice dead and Luther getting arrested. It’s like they had all the ingredients for a good story, but fukked up the seasoning and ruined the whole dish

Beasts of no nation was good but let's be real. You would never see Matthew mac(not going to attempt to spell his name) or Leo star in straight to Netflix movies.

I like Idris but let's be real his hype is overblown. Why has someone who has never been an oscar contender considered our best actor. This dude is too busy doing DJ sets at coachella to take a serious role.

The dude from 12 years a slave deserves more praise.

Anyways this is not hate I'm just saying he has probably the best reputation in Hollywood dispite doing so little.
