I think very deeply
Never liked the idea of "Black " version of white character. Like we're excited to walk in another person's shoes.
This.
I'd rather have something original for black characters especially.

I'm just gonna drop this in here to get the chit started.
Not to mention that Bond is EXTREMELY WHITE in all his characteristics, mannerisms, and movie shtick. Give us a completely new and different Double-O agent. England's MI6-SIS is huge in scope and operation. Why is there always only one agent on TV and film? Mission Impossible also needs to expand the IMF ethos on screen as Tom Cruise, Ving Rhames, and company are getting with each passing filmJames Bond is a white man, so keep him as such.
We'd rightly be in our feelings if a historically fictional black character we created was played by a white man, so let's just keep it how it is.
If anything, he can be a spinoff type of character, but he doesn't need to be James Bond himself.

Eon Productions should expand the Bond universe and give Lynch her own TV show
