My main beef is it feels like the script to a completely different property but with Sonic and Eggman attached, but it's a decent enough script.

They got Sonic's personality mostly right but they got his motives and shyt wrong. Sonic was never an outcast desperate for friendship and approval. He was the cool guy that everybody else wanted to fukk with. And kind of aloof, too.
