I disagree less people voting is the remedy to exposing the shame government for the actual sham that it is.
A'ight, say you're right, and less people voting is the answer.
Of the 300 million Americans, who gets to vote and who doesn't?
College graduates? Tax payers? Earners over a certain amount? People over a certain age? People with a certain IQ?
Because whatever metric you choose, black people and other minorities will be underrepresented in any of those metrics.
Cool.
Only 100,000 of the best and brightest get a vote. Who chooses those 100,000? Because if society as a whole is any indication, the people making that decision are going to be white, so maybe you've got 10,000 of those 100,000 voters being black.
Would you be happy knowing that every 4 years, 90,000 white people got to choose who the president was?
I don't know about you, but I'd rather have every single person above a certain age get to vote than a select few, because when it comes to "select", whatever field it's in, "select" tends to mean white.
