Speechless...

In more ways than one. It's like I have 1,000 thoughts and I can't even pick one and set it straight enough to say it out loud.

This movie coming true is bananas.

Turnout man. When cats don't turnout, bad shyt happens. Idk how many more times that needs to be proven before it sinks in. Less people voted for trump than Clinton AND Romney lol

the movie wasn't about turnout though, it was about the ridiculous contention that intelligence is some how genetic and that smart people would be bred out.
It ridiculous assertion because even the simple know how to live within their means and act in what they view their best interest.
All that ties into turnout to vote, a great deal of people were sickened by the system and on top of that you had a lot of people who actually remained and voted who hated both of them but went with the more nuclear option that they felt might disrupt the status quo.

Its important you don't minimize people who disagree as being stupid, racist, and etc. They are telling those who listen something, you have to hear what they are saying the respond to what they are saying if you want them to turn to your side.

Homie I know the movie wasn't about turnout lol I was talking to @steadyrighteous about the real life shyt for a second since I know he was talking about real life not the movie. Less people voted than 4 years ago. More people voted for her. But she was missing votes. It always comes down to turnout every time. Yes of course people don't want to be vilified or made fun of no doubt but when politicians actively tout low turnout numbers as an advantage on their side, that tells you all you need to know

Less people voting is a good thing, less government legitimacy.

:francis:

It also happened with that whole Brexit shyt from earlier this year. It's eye opening.

I think people underestimate the whole "low key, white people with their backs against the wall will resort to type", and unfortunately, that type took the form of Donald Trump. People need to be prepared to vote to make sure that the "resort to type" vote doesn't work.

A dude who constantly shyt on women's appearance, and says if you're rich enough you can "grab 'em by the p*ssy" got over 60% of white women's vote.

I'm not one to quote TLR, but from an article posted there:

And when we talk about racism in America, how it's passed down from generation to generation, we talk about white men like Trump and the good ol’ boys who keep it going.

Well, who’s at home raising the next generation of racists? Who's changing the diapers of the nation’s future bigots? Just sayin’. There are some good ol’ girls in America, too.

The last time Hillary Clinton lost, in 2008, she didn’t make it to Election Day. Obama defeated her for the Democratic nomination.

White women at the time blamed black women for choosing race over gender.

Black women had your back this time. Who are you going to blame now?

Homie less people voting is never a good thing. It's the right of every person in this country. There's a reason my ancestors and others fought and petitioned and got beat up or sacrificed themselves for that right. Miss me with that bull

Plus it's the basics - you need more people to vote because it's harder to pull a fast one on a large body of people. It's an overused quote, but it applies:

"You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time."

I disagree less people voting is the remedy to exposing the shame government for the actual sham that it is.
If voting is a right, it isn't being that it can be removed, then you have the right to exercise said right or to not exercise it. Calling it a right and acting like it means it is a neccessity is intellectually dishonest.
My ancestors fought for white people to take their foot off their neck and to take ownership of their own lives, without being subhuman and not having equal protection under the law. Voting was just a means to the end, not the end.

You seem to have a emotional connection with the act of voting, similar to the same emotional connection a lot of whites have with the flag and anthem. I don't have that, I look at it rationally.
That said you are entitled to your view, I just disagree with it as I"m sure you disagree with mine.

Yeah you're right. I get emotional when I think of the fact my grandmother couldn't vote because of her skin color. Or my grandfather. Or the fact that people conspire to ensure people who look like me can't vote. How dare I be emotional about an injustice
