You don't have to be a muslim. You don't even have to be a fan of their faith. But basic human decency and empathy should make you feel for the plight of the people in Gaza/WB. I have several qualms with some of the teachings of Islam but it didn't take me a second to empathize with men, women and children being wiped out systematically. If there is anything that has destroyed the image of US abroad, it is the collective act of grovelling and cowardice exhibited by all the arms of government, especially congress to israel.
