Do not let the media fool you. There are plenty of ways to make money on your own terms besides selling dope and it does not automatically require a college degree. Find work in a field you would like to pursue, save your money, learn the business and then open your own.
I have a nightclub that I opened in 2009. I started as a busboy in the bar business in 2000 and worked every position imaginable on my way up. So it's not impossible in a business with a lot of cash floating around and has a lot of people without any know how looking to invest in to get something popping for yourself.
