i mean ice t is the greatest non lyrical rapper. he was far for bein' a master of lyrical wordplay like kool g rap or rakim but he was still great at makin' songs without bein' so. he didn't need to be no lyrical acrobat to make the great songs and music he did in his prime

I know the tem lyrical is subjective, but I think a few of you guys are tripping in here. Big words and complex rhyme schemes don't equal lyrical. You can have a fairly "simple" flow and still be a lyricist, which Scarface was.

And to the guy that said Guru, don't mistake his monotone voice and the fact that he rarely changed his flow up as being non lyrical. Guru dropped jewels and pretty much spoke in parables. He dropped a lot of wisdom and displayed a high level of lyricism.

Ice-T on my G.O.A.T. list without being "technical", definitely Top 20 ever.

Song wise he was better than a lot of people who yall rank over him on these lists. Probably the G.O.A.T. gangsta rapper after Cube, , he wasn't just a vapid stupid clown babbling about frivolous gangsta shyt, shyt was detailed and vivid and had a point.

And even today, Ice shyt from back then still sounds crazy.
