I've always been a fan of Ice-T, and sometimes, for reasons like this
, bruh not afraid of no cop and kinda made a mockery out of him
.
We need more people to stand up to cops; otherwise, they're gonna always power trip and do some dumb ass shyt or worse. America gives too much power to an individual no matter how egregious they are as long as they're wearing a uniform.
Just because you got on a uniform doesn't make you upstanding or honorable; Ice-T was right; he doesn't have to respect him just because he's wearing that uniform and donning a badge. There's a reason why occupations such as law enforcement are often filled with individuals with closeted psychopathic and sociopathic tendencies wearing uniforms and badges walking and patrolling the streets.
The cop was being an a$$hole just because he could, not out of necessity; he could've just given him a ticket and sent him on his way since he was only going across the street to the DMV, but the officer ego tripping and wanted to show his buddies who he pulled over.
He knows who Ice-T is, ain't no way you don't know who one of the most well-known fictional cops on TV starring in one of the most popular and longest-running shows on America's television. Ice-T has been on SVU since season 2, dating back to '00-'01, and believe me, cops watch police shows unless you live in a small-town bubble but even then, this is Law and Order we're talking about ain't no way even some hick never seen or heard of the show.
As Ice-T once said in his rhymes...“
you grew up off me, TV, movies, records, and tours.”
