Even if he did recognize him, does that mean he should be treated any better than we would? That cop is power tripping because that is what many of them do and are encouraged to do. There is a culture of being an a$$hole with no accountability in American policing.

It doesn't matter if you're a millionaire or world famous. In a traffic stop with an armed police officer, you have no leverage. These thugs literally get away with murder even when it's on camera. They know that when they have you stopped or in custody, it's the only time in their lives where they get to feel like a god and they can and will savor every moment of that.

The irony of all this comes from the fact that the man who made law and order LOVES cops and is always looking to make excuses for them. Ice T is a pawn in that man's propaganda campaign to give cops a pass for any laws they break. The goal is to make the public think "he had a good reason for doing that" and it's worked successfully for many years.

Cop was power tripping cause Ice T wasn’t shook. Especially when ICE T was telling the cop the shyt wasn’t serious and he ain’t have to do what he did. Older cop knew Ice and tried to cut him some slack. Ice just didn’t want the car towed.
