My kids school district sent out a notice out about their procedures in handling inquiries on students in the district. It’s honestly a terrible situation. We have diverse population from all over too. People in my area are mixed batch of Trumpers or Democrats.

They just said they don’t release without parent/guardian permission unless legally authorized. If legally authorized then they forward information to one of their in district departments first to confirm.
But, it could be different district to district. Who knows how other districts might be.
