My thing is why would the democrats be the only upset ones? How about the republican business owners who pay these illegals under the table?

You could is not the same as you will. Also, overstaying means they came here legally, not illegally. Coming here illegally means they already broke the law, which then means they are criminals in the eyes of the law.

So what you posted shows what happens to people who were here legally from the start, but overstayed their welcome. It does not show what happens to those who came here illegally from the start.

If someone comes here without a status and does dirt, you get what you get. But people who are making positive contributions to our society, or staying out the way should be allowed to stay in my opinion.

Courts will be SWAMPED. Backlogs will be huge. People will NOT have speedy trials. And countless legal Americans will languish in detention.

So, why should I care about something I have no power to control? I voted for Kamala, and that is all I could have done to help stave this off. What are you expecting anyone to do about that circumstance, but worry about something we have no power to stop?
