As a veteran and as someone who spent a year dealing with this EXACT population in San Luis Arizona this is a waste of fukking time and such things wouldn’t happen here. Mexican military/border security are notorious for robbery/rape of nationals crossing their border so I shed no tears for them. You have to be an idiot to think these people who badly want to get in, would even think of forcing their way in while seeking asylum. Illegally crossing? Yes I get that , but asylum seekers? Come on man

These aren’t asylum seekers, they are illegal immigrants trying to abuse the asylum system and mess things up for people that actual need asylum
None of these people have valid asylum claims
Plus the reality of what happened at the Mexican border would differ with your assessment
But I agree that something like in the video would probably not happen simply because there are not enough migrants in one spot to overwhelm border patrol, I don’t think it’s because of politeness
It’s a proper use of force if it’s being used as a deterrent even if the troops never come in contact with migrants
