Ice Cube's War & Peace series gets unwarranted levels of criticism

War had some good tracks but overall was a very mediocre album. Peace was - Cube's second worst album to me.

I think Cube's career can be divided by It was a good day being a hit. His next single was check yo self with the message sample & from then on he tried to hit radio with we be clubbing. He tried to fit in with the new audience. I remember 2pac hadn't a problem with WSC about cube switching styles. I like the war album but I've been a cube fan 1987 so I'm bias

I have No clue how anyone can front on the war album cube is beast in that and the beats are amazing. The peace album is lackluster and him trying to go really obviously commercial with his best choices.

War disc was damn near classic to me. Used to get in the car and my pops would even ask if I brought that tape with me cuz he fukked with it too.

Peace disc was mid though. had a few bangers but not like the War disc.

Its better than the Peace disc, but I still enjoy and think the War disc is better than Everythang's Corrupt.

Cube is forever top 5-10. His impact alone is unparalleled, dude basically created Gangsta rap. And he has 5 classics, only 2Pac, Outkast, Hov and Nas can say that.
