What did you guys expect from the person who was writing Eazy E's raps and even made him say Ice Cube wrote the lyrics hes rapping in a song :snoop:

How smart would it be for him to diss people who use ghost writers like Eazy E, a week before the NWA movie brehs?

PC answer because hes on a promotion tour.
"Ice Cube writes rhymes, that I say."

The year 3030
:laff: all these people trying to qualify Cube comments

When last week you dymbasses were telling me the #1 unwritten rule/ forbidden fruit was having someone else write your rhymes.

Back when rap was "real" you would Get kicked out of the culture if someone didn't write

Now all I see is a bu bu bu cube really meant this...:rudy:

You need to head back to Degrassi High to up those critical thinking skills.

I don't ever remember it being so frowned upon, if anything Meek is wack for trying to expose him for doing this.. Just cause Drake thinks he is an all time great, it don't mean I ever did or that was general consensus

This is what I don't understand. Nikkas are acting shocked and disappointed because Drake:beli:, was exposed for having ghostwriters. We not talking about Jay-Z, Nas, Pac, or Biggie. We talking about Drake. This nikka has never been considered an elite MC, never. He makes good songs no doubt, but that doesn't make you an elite MC. (Bow Wow has made a few good songs as well:usure:) I'm sure Ty Lawson considers himself an elite NBA pg, I don't. I just don't understand the outrage. If Cube, a nikka who is apart of the industry, whom has made millions of dollars, who definitely doesn't need or want the "Drake Stimulus", is OK with ghost writing, why are nikkas making it seem like the end of the world. Just don't listen to tracks of nikkas who have had ghostwriters.

Nothing
Since Meek Mill called out Drake for relying on it, ghostwriting has been a hot-button issue in rap once again. Wisely, someone decided to ask Ice Cube (who allegedly wrote the majority of the lyrics on N.W.A.'s Straight Outta Compton) to weigh in on the new controversy during a recent interview.

"I don't think it ever mattered in record making," Cube said when asked about the importance of self-penned lyrics in hip-hop, "I don't think people care what it takes for you to make a good record, just make sure it's good." Also comparing the process to building a house, Cube added that you do get "extra points" in his book if you write your own rhymes.

Classic Niccas
another reason for keeping it PC is some of these rappers got skeletons in their closet.

if it was all good, then there would be no such thing as GHOSTwriting and everybody would get their credit up front & in the booklets.
