I hate disrespecting our legends but Cube should’ve stopped rapping a long time ago. His flow is awful.

I mean cmon man:

Ran across your picture in my iPhone (iPhone)
Boy, you was wild as a cyclone (Cyclone)
Kinda like me with the mic on (Mic on)
Grab the shyt tight like a python (Python)
Spit that ism, and if they really listen
You know this ism'll keep 'em out of prison
You know this ism'll keep you on a mission
Time to start livin' and stop wishin'
The sky is purple and pink
And I think that the moon gave a nikka a wink

Honestly, it got worse. I wanted to cut it off at a track called 5150 where this is the hook:

I think this ho is psychotic (5150, the bytch need an antibiotic)
I think this ho is psychotic (5150, the bytch need an antibiotic)
I think this ho is psychotic (5150, the bytch need an antibiotic)
I think this ho is psychotic (5150, 5150)

Kam hatin but was right. Cube don't have nothing to talk about.

What the fukk is an antibiotic gonna do for mental illness? :mjlol:

After watching a few recent interviews and hearing his trash new music, I'm convinced either he's had ghostwriters since 1988 or he's in the midst of mental decline.

I actually enjoyed the album for the most part.
Are Cube’s best days behind him? Of course.

Is there anyone in the world who does their best work 40 years into their career?
Nothing he could do would ever come close to his late 80’s early 90’s run.

But if he can add one or two new joints to a fans playlist, then that should be the measuring stick.

We had a great year for some legends in the game.
To me rap album of the year goes to Cool J.

It’s just nice to see our legends be able to continue making their fans happy like every other style of music has been able to do.

It means your current favorites will be able to do the same in a few short years.

Metallica has been garbage since 1988 and they just put out an album last year, our legends should be able to do the same.

Metallica being "garbage" since 1988. :mjlol:

The revisionist history here is hilarious. Do you listen to the music or just wear the T-shirts like an insta thot? The Black Album although slower and yes "different" than their thrash metal roots was a classic and enormously successful. Cube has been dropping dudes for at LEAST 20 years.

Okay, maybe I could have said 1991.
But I am basing my comment off what die hard fans of their claim.

However, it doesn’t change the fact that while most of their die hard fans believe their best days are long behind them they still support them and are always glad to get some new music or a new tour.

Why does that have to be different for our legends?

Once you’re a legacy artist, the point of dropping new music is to generate interest for touring.
It’s not supposed to be the best album of his career, nor do his fans expect it to be.

Y’all just need to stop being so miserable.
