She could have been doing many things, but know what, she could also communicate that before she got on her phone. You feel it is the responsibility of the person who does not know what she is doing to spend time asking that question. I understand that if she respected him, she would have informed him of the answer to that before she pulled out her phone.
We are two different sorts of people. I give respect and expect respect in return. It seems you are of the opinion that you should acquiesce to the whims of another, while they disrespect you by not even having the curtesy to explain to you why they are disrupting the date. I understand that there are women out there that will respect my time, you seem to live like there is some scarcity of good looking women, so you must accept the foolishness from one you do happen to come across.
Naw, Beautiful women outnumber men with our act together. From that brother's actions, he has shown to her that he has plenty of options. She will remember him forever for respecting his own time and effort. I did the same, and was able to find myself a physically and mentally beautiful woman to marry (married now for 27 years), since I did not waste my time chasing after a woman who demonstrated at the beginning that I and my time would not be respected by her.
Hell, back in my day. I would also give women only a 10 minute late reprieve. After that, I walked out. When I saw her later and she asked for another chance, I would decline. Like I said before, physically attractive women are plentiful. So I lived my life understanding that basic fact. It was meeting one that was both mentally & physically attractive that required effort to find. No need to waste time on the ones that failed out the gate.
