yep, actually "The Batman" was only the third best batman imo. I like the entire dark knight trilogy better except for the last one. I'd put it tied with 1989 batman.
As far as MCU. Ever single Russo directed movie is >>>> imo including End Game. Black Panther >>>>> The OG Avengers, OG Iron Man, OG Guardians, No Way Home >>>> too
And if you're including Fox, i'd put deadpool 1, DOFP and Logan above it too.

Furthermore, if you break it down, what makes it >>>> than any MCU movies? The action? barely had any in the movie. the action we did have was just batman versus nameless thugs.
The Villains? Most of the villains were just thugs and the Riddler is kinda mid. Cinematography? The entire movie was orange or in shadows. Gotham is supposed to be dark but thats not a pass.
The acting? eh it was fine. Nothing stood out particularly like Heath ledger did. it was just a decent batman movie. nothing terrible but nothing great.

They tried that with Garfield and it didn't go so well. Plus, everyone's focused on MCU Spider-Man and after the recent bombing of Morbius everyone's expectations would be low.

They deadass need to make their own Spider Man.
