But they werent being "disbanded". They were officially ordered to be wiped out in response to the unjustified attack on the then Supreme Chancellor's life.




The extermination of the remaining Jedi was authorized and signed into law by the Emperor, so offing those kids isn't a war crime.
To allow any Jedi, youth otherwise, to quit and return to their families would be deemed unlawful and would pose immediate threat to the helpless citizens of the New Galactic Empire.

If that flip is Obi Wan signature move he would know how to counter it. Since Skywalker would have learned that move from Obi and basically been trying to beat him with his own shyt he was being cocky. Vader went on some kind of weight trainer or sumn cuz his fighting skills in ANH were then he came back much older in ESB with the juice...
