this is very true. I went to a HBCU and my brother went to a PWI. He was lucky he was cool with the cool kids, cause he told me stories of the black kid that didn't hang out with them, and it was some mega depressing shyt. Even a weirdo at a HBCU can be getting it in with the hoes if he acts stable. lol

I don't know how dudes disagreed with what I said. This scenario is widespread across PWI's. One black person in a group of white, asian or latino people because they culturally don't fit in with the dominate black culture that is present on campus. The dominate black culture on a PWI is mostly the greeks or BSA. If you really not trying to do all that, you could very well be a black person at a PWI, leaving college with zero black friends ..If you go to a HBCU you can find other people who are black like you, into anime, into Toro Y Moi or Valerie June or Pink Floyd, skateboarding, music..Smh could you imagine if we didn't have HBCU's? Where the fukk would all those talented black musicians play at? Where would they go?
