That's all fine and well but nobody cares about that shyt in 2012. That's my point. And in the middle of G-Unit mania if you tried to project the trajectory of 50's careers and/or over all placement in rap history, you'd definitely have a skewed perspective.
I'm not saying Drake is going to stop selling records any time soon, but if selling records and/or being popular at the height of your career is all it takes to be a legend, then it's virtually impossible for the bar to be any lower.
You need perspective....time....let a few years pass when Drake ain't hot any more, then look back and ask yourself "did he have a legendary career?". I'm sure a lot of people thought Nelly had a legendary career too, back in 2000....2012 it's "he had a good run, but ultimately nobody gives a fukk about him nowadays".
