Yeah but what this shyt about him sitting around white comedians that were saying the hard N word like its cool? If thats true, I dont care about anything said on a mic for money if you a churchmouse in reality when the shyt is in your face.

I havent seen the video people are talking about but if it is in fact true, what you posted is negated.

Yeah I doubt you'd ever in life get into a brawl on a worldwide television despite what's said to you and have enough sense to have restraint in that moment. You're just getting your shyt off on the internet. Go awf fam:salute:

So in private... Chris Rock would have squared up with Will? That's what you're saying despite him clearly insinuating that he don't want that problem?

There was a lot of pandering in his special...

Mike was never convicted of anything and him lumping that into with R Kelly
Him repeatedly saying OJ was a murder when he wasn't guilty
All of the Draymond Green being "so black" jokes as if He himself is light skin...

So much of that special was cringe asf.....

I don't think that's pandering. Chris genuinely doesn't fukk with Michael Jackson and I'm fully convinced of that. If he believes he's guilty now, he's being consistent with how he felt in 2004 when the second round of allegations came out. You ever seen that video where he says that Prince won?

Compare that to how Dave Chappelle feels about Michael Jackson. He didn't believe the allegations in 2004 and he didn't believe them in 2019. Both comedians staying consistent while having different views.

Rock was in an impossible situation at the award show. Get slapped and be concerned a punk in the black community or fight back and be concerned a stereotypical violent black guy (regardless if it's warrented). Anyone that works in corporate America understands what I mean.

Not counting the fact that it was a random act of violence with millions of people watching and he had to make a quick decision in what he should do. He decided to take the L but either way it was going to be an L one way or another it just depends on how quickly he can recover from it pride wise or $ wise if he fought back.

Rock is clearly not a fighter and would get washed on national TV so I'm sure that came across his mind. The slap was bad because he didn't fight back but maybe getting knocked out unexpectedly would have helped his image because it was unexpected. However a video of getting knocked out will live in the internet forever with his kids watching it smh. Either ways it rough.

Right now the media and corporate folks are on his side for taking the "high road" so he gonna make his money using this bit. The internet is on fire for his Netflix special so I'm sure he's cashing in on this.

I'm sure in private Chris Rock woulda thrown something back even knowing he'd probably lose. He doesn't seem like the type that's so scared of losing a fight he won't throw a punch if you smack him in private.

But I don't think it woulda got physical in private and they woulda talked things out like grown men.

I get what Chris is saying, but it wasn't just the slap. Will slapped him AND checked him.

*Slap* "Keep my wife's name out your fukking mouth!":demonic:

"I will":hamster:

:what:You don't have to scrap, but at least give him some stern words or something.

White people love to see us prove we’re savages, he’s not about placating their desire to say “see, told you’re they’re like that”

For as much as TLR talks about “we shouldn’t have this conversation in front of white people” whenever a black issue comes up in the media…the heel turn on not fighting in front of white people is :patrice:

nikkas in here playing stupid

They know what he meant

Yep I don’t condone Will’s actions but he got the message across CLEAR at that moment.

What I don’t fw when it came to the special is he kept coming for Jada instead of the nikka who slapped you after she said she didn’t condone that shyt neither. Literally on Chris’ side.

You can’t tell another man how to react to his wife even if she the worst ho.

Chris lucky he just got smacked.

It's a opening bit of comedy.

Will was obviously in the wrong.

I kinda understand his point but execution was all the way off but still I have no sympathy for Chris 🤷🏾‍♀️ he deserved to be embarrassed, comedian or not, he talks too much.

I understand comedians are comedians and their jobs are to make people laugh at their own or at others expense but there has to be a line drawn 🤷🏾‍♀️.

And its funny cause that's what he said at the beginning of the set. "Will Smith is a big guy, I'm a small dude. He even played Ali. He always does movies with his shirt off, I've NEVER done a movie with my shirt off."

The truth is he was scared of Will. And the truth is, Will knew it which is why he punked him like that.

But Chris trying to take all of that back at the end and do a mic drop saying "I didn't fight back cause my mama taught me to never fight in front of white ppl" was some weird stuff.

Yeah I get what hes saying, dont give cacs a show because they want to see black men fighting. But it feels weird without more context? Was he worried about being canceled for fighting, career ruined? And the mic drop is celebrating that his career wasnt ruined, because he listend to his mama? And Wills has been tarnished at least if not ruined?

Hes talking shyt about a black man and his wife in front of white people. So its kindve hard to say for sure what he means by that. Maybe he will elaborate more later
