ECW.

They're the reason for the boom. If not for Paul E pushing the envelope, Vine and Bischoff wouldn't have pushed Cruiserweights, tables, Chokeslams and extreme wrestling.

We don't just need competing companies, we need a competitive environment for talent.

Wrestling won't be popular again until this happens...

@3Rivers :blessed:

As long as Stephanie and Triple H. Are still around, then nothing will change.

Not gonna happen in the current climate unless some billionaire starts a wrestling company and offers a blank check.

I thought the "neckbeards" were supposed to be the vanilla midget advocates. :leostare:

When you post on a board all day cosigning your online friends using insider talk like vanilla midget, theres hardly any difference between yourself and a neckbeard

The 90's were all about being grungy, rebellious "fukk the system" etc.
WWE was able to tap into that feeling and become part of the times.

What is the identity of the times we live in now? Maybe rebelling against "political correctness" would strike a chord?

I think intricate stories with unexpected twists and turns could make wrestling big... like game of thrones, breaking bad, stranger things...
