Be honest..you really think this would lead to a boom?
Realistically, nothing.
Even if TNA grows (im not pro or anti TNA)..its not gonna lead to anything near a boom. If anything they'd just be taking WWE fans as the WWE continues to be stupid. TNA is trying with Lashley and MMA and theyre doing okay but a boom? Hell no, not even close..ever.
Between PG tv and pussified parenting/kids theres very little room for popularity growth in terms of "people wearing shirts in public" and being a staple in pop culture. If it was me id go private, get rid of PG and let the wrestlers drink, do a shyt of adderall, weed and blow to make things interesting but then parents and every establishment faux outrage group would go bu bu bu bu bu bu bu. Id also consider taking some breaks to rest the wrestlers and cut down on day to day expenses..then make it into "seasons" instead of every week all year forever..itd build more hype and the network could hold people over. Maybe even have a reality show to completely break kayfabe when "wrestling season" isnt on (not just total divas because they arent a draw at all) to have people connect to the wrestlers on a more personal level and get them to respect the fact that they are actors/actresses and athletes at the same time which makes them unique but

I had a thought the other day, if the WWE goes down - is that the end of pro wrestling as a whole? 
as far as im concerned..they might as well just completely kill it off at this point

they need guys to stay in character. In the '90s there was no internet, so no boards for spoilers or other smarky BS. (I know there were some but it was infinitesimal.) Everything felt real and fun. It's why the nWo was so popular, because it really felt like an invasion from another org. (Plus the genius decision to have Hall come from the crowd, and not an entrance.) Now, people are too self-aware and know it's all fake, but the worst part is WWE is in on the meta-ironist bullshyt too. They need wrestlers doing youtube videos in character, and pranks and shyt. Million Dollar Man fukking with that black kid would get 10 million views now on youtube if he did it in a park, and then that would help boost ratings.
