Man this post is weird as hell

NYC has some new artists that are actually making waves in REAL LIFE, your "no presence" claim has zero merit right now.

Young MA

Desiigner

A-Boogie & Don Q

Dave East

Casanova 2x

You just want the music to go back to sounding like whatever era it is that you stan. That's not going to happen....

desiinger ain't shyt but a dikk ridin' wannabe future. get this bullshyt outta here. that's not what i want when i saw i want new york back

i want new york back on it's originality, not some dikk ridin' shyt

hard to do when hip hop as a whole ain't shyt no more
this era of hip hop is full of bunch of shyt, striaight up. no even watered down, just pure shyt
i was speakin' new york since they fell off so hard and have no originality anymore
1 of them things you had to be there to really know how great and special it was when new york was on top

I hate to break it to you but there aren't any really good new cats coming out of new York. Chicago has produced more talent than new york this decade.

With the internet, if someone is good, they will get heard. Joey Bada$$ literally came from nobody to a New Sensation overnight.

It is what it is. I like other cities getting some shine anyway. Maybe that's way I like Conway because I never heard a Buffalo New York rapper

New yorkers shyt on Buffalo tho :russ:

Yeah, didn't realize this when I first got put on to them, but now i'm realizing just how much NYC doesn't fukk with Buffalo

If anybody from NYC came out making music like Conway and Westside Gunn they probably would be hailed as the saviors of hip hop damn near city wide

I like Bishop Nehru, he's got that old school New York sound

Let's be real though, g-funk kicked ass. I wish the west made a comeback like that.

NY is over as we know it.

Gotta start from the ground up.

A nice slice of humble pie makes pretention shorter lived.

The reason they got shine was because of Jews and pop vultures.

85% of the country don't know what a fukkin bodega is.

Time to pull up by your Tims straps nikka.

What you mean? Young M.A. was in the cypher and performed at the BET Awards, East was in the cypher, A Boogie and Don Q were in the cyphers, Desiigner closed the show.

A Boogie and Don Q aren't online hot they streets hot. They every whip and club in the Tri State playing they shyt hot, they kill the freestyles at the radio station hot, they been co-signed by legends and present artists.

Buffalo is like 8 hours away near Canada and resembles Midwest cities. It's nothing like NYC. I be there.

Conway and Westside Gunn make that Roc Marciano and Ka type shyt. Nobody wants to hear that shyt so they wouldn't be crowned saviors of anything just obscure underground rappers for backpackers and old street nikkas.
