Is Suikoden 1 worth getting? The second one is the highest rated in the series right?

I somewhat enjoyed part 1, how is WK2 . I remember I made a brother with an axe in skills in one-hand and bow. Light Armor type DPS build. He was fast as hell for an axe dude. I liked the concept tho.

I havent even gotten to part 2 yet. my 1st PS3 caught the YLOD and I lost my save and I decided to play thru part 1 again since it has updated gameplay, extra side quests, etc. with all the improvements its actually worth playing thru the 1st one again.

Part 2 is arguably the best console style rpg of all time...up there with FF VI, VII, Chrono Trigger, etc

Suikoden V and 1 are GREAT JRPG's that need to be played, you CAN'T go wrong

III is really good and IV........... except for the story

Console style
-Tales of Vesperia was supposed to be ported over, and it never came and from what I've heard it's top tier status (as always, US never gets the good shyt...just shyt)

-Tales of Xillia is supposed to drop in 2013, TBA at the time, keep your ears to the streets

-Tales of Graces f needs to be copped immediately, can't be complaining if you're not copping piff that's out

-Eternal Sonata, Star Ocean the Last Hope, Final Fantasy XIII, FF XIII-2, Resonance of Fate, Ar Tonelico Qoga, Fable III, Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland, Atelier Totori: The Adventurer of Arland...none are exceptional when you consider the classic and timeless rpg titles that have been released throughout the years for various systems, but they're the best shot you have at ps3 currently and are good games

Rent, Gamefly, read & research, you may find some that suits you

Action RPGs
-Dark Souls and Demon's Souls...one question...do you like a challenge? Great games but jesus...

-Dragon's Dogma, Valkyria Chronicles, and Mass Effect 2...unless you simply have a hard time with action rpgs...you have no excuses to own at least ONE of these if not all 3 claiming to be in need of great rpgs

Man I would be happy if they remade ff4,6 and 7 in 3d next gen graphics. Especially ff6. Sabin, Locke , shadow, cyan

Not a PS3 rpg, but anyone fukk with Digital Devil Saga? I got this game sitting next to me and I haven't touched it in months. Nocturne was the shyt, but is this even close?

I beat Vesperia on 360 and its , best damn jrpg this gen. I thought it was ported to ps3 but namco apparently fukked up

Graces is very good but little too childish to me, and I heard that Xillia is weak and really unpolished for a Tales of game

Part 2 has the GOAT villain...definitely one of the GOATs. I never played 5, what system was that? 3 was epic too just off it's scope and story. I never beat it and don't have a PS2 to go back to it either dammit.

Just stay away from Suikoden Tactics.
