Holms was far more damaging, because that's when the Rousey mystic vanished like a thief in the night. Not only did Holms negate the tactic of when Ronda gets close she will hip toss into armbar land. But with Rogan, the media and others were building up her hands so much, that they were totally dismissing a former boxing world champion, to prop up Ronda. Some variant of she has some of the greatest hands in MMA history or something .

Holm gave her a boxing masterclass that made her look silly, with all the feints and movement and then finished it off with a kick to the head

Dana and Ronda teaming up to work Trips and Vince into giving her a bag was a great finesse though.

I felt the Holm fight was a bit flukey but Nunes just ate her up and Ronda had nothing for her.

There was absolutely nothing flukey about that striking clinic Holm put on Rousey. She made her look like a can who had no business in the UFC cage AND even clinched up with her and manhandled HER into a takedown beating her at her own strength.

Rogan was a notorious Ronda dikkrider until that Holly Holm fight. After the Nunes fight, I remember watching his podcast and he just looked so defeated.

BTW, props to Floyd Mayweather for saying he'd help train her if she wanted to make a comeback.

Rondas a dumbass for not taking him up in that offer too cuz she wouldve been straight with great hands/strike defense/tactics to go along with het grappling, but guess that wwe money had her saying fukk getting hit for real lol.

Holm was worst because of everything that happened afterward. She not only gave her her first L, but sent her on a downward spiral. Ronda's aura of invincibility was gone. Another underrated part is that fukking Meisha Tate of all people, the person that Ronda hated the most, was the one who dethroned Holm. That probably fukked with her more than anything else.

Yeah that Nunes loss was the dagger into Ronda's professional fighting career. I don't think many people gave her a chance in that fight, I sure as hell didn't.

Ronda was mentally washed...Her confidence died and never came back. When you have that going against you and your matched up against a fighter with more superior skills, mentally tougher and can deal with taking a L and coming back, you literally stand no chance.

Ronda should took at least one more fight against an upcomer trying to climb the ranks that's green in the skill department and went out with a W.

Looking back, that hype job was insane lol.

When Holly got out of that corner and easily dodged that left hook from Ronda...that was the key moment of all her humiliation and losses. She had no business being in the ring with a top notch boxer who knows how to cut off and use the ring.

Word. They're both combat sports, but crossing from either into the other is just a different ball game. Oh, a boxer would kill a mixed martial artist? Yeah in a boxing match. Theres a reason why Floyd didnt want any takedowns, subs or kicks.


Back to Ronda though, i'll never forget my reaction when she whiffed that punch and her whole body went with it. Like who the fukk was over THERE? Insanity.

And the Amanda fight was like shooting Old Yeller in the head. That beatdown was an act of mercy lol
