I tried to watch Goldeneye (1995) because I saw all the Daniel Craig movies and had to turn it off

OP is crazy. Goldeneye shyts on Daniel Craig and Sam Mendes.

Real talk. Dalton and Brosnan underrated.

It looked like it was filmed in 1965 instead of 1995, I watched tons of movies from the 90s so I don't know why this one in particular looked so old :scust:
They had campy 90s music in the background, completely took me out of the immersion :scust: Im expecting something sultry, sexy and luxurious and it sounds like something from Power Rangers. Say what you will about Daniel Craig but, if all the Bond movies are like this, then I'll stay with Casino Royale, QOS, Skyfall and Spectre and pretend nothing else came out. It doesn't make any sense how there's no change in feeling between Spectre (2015) and Casino Royale (2006) but, it feels like you went back multiple decades with Goldeneye (1995) even though its the same distance apart in terms of movie years :scust:

Count me in the minority, and it's maybe cause I'm a little older, but I hated the Brosnan bond movies. They're so corny and campy to me, and the weird thing about that is I grew up as fan of the Roger Moore movies, which were a lot of that as well. I think it was because those Brosnan joints came out around when I was reaching adulthood and I just wasn't receptive to that kinda shyt at the time. Regardless I can not watch them because they're corny in addition to holding no nostalgic value for me. With that being said I'm sure you'll hate the Roger Moore joints for the same reason:manny:

im with you op.... i tried watching some pre craig bond films. Not my cup of tea. they re to cartoonish for my taste.
They went in a new direction with the Craig bond movies.
Serious, darker.
I watched Skyfall again yesterday. It had lots of shyt that needed explaining but i enjoyed the movie. I tired watching Spectre after that :unimpressed: Its even worse than quantum of solace

that's what James Bond is though

The Daniel Craig movies take themselves too seriously and aren't even bonds movies you could switch bond out with any random jason borne type and its the same movie

this why the movie industry has failed, they tried to batman begins every goddamn thing, and make it grounded and dark,

when James Bond has always been a fantastical character with wacky gadgets and over the top villains
