My only female friend tried to hook me up with her friend but she got cuffed by another guy before anything happened. She lives with her older, covid-susceptible parents an hour away so I can't hang with her too often.

I was working on some shyt when I first responded, but wanted to clarify now that I got a few minutes of free time.
The Black Christian community is one of the best places to find women to date, especially if you're new to dating.
I don't know your situation, but if you're good with your cousins and your father, go to church with them sometimes and join a couple of the young people groups they have.
Most Black churches have men's groups, youth groups, single's groups, etc. where you can meet people organically.
