If I move back to the DMV, I’m never living in DC again. Takes 20-30 mins to get out the fukking city, 15-20 mins to go 2-3 miles, just stupid
The only saving grace is that it’s a walkable city. But what annoys me is that lord of the bike lines Muriel makes it harder and harder to drive in the city or even have a car. So if it ain’t the construction traffic, it’s petty tickets, if it ain’t petty tickets it’s retarded bike lanes that make navigating that much harder.
Yeah unless I’m WFH or super close to my job I don’t think ima stay in the city for long.
I’m going tomorrow
Just got back from the mgm national harbour
Gambling and all star game lol
Lol ima laugh if you pull up
I used to live in Alexandria on the West End, still living in NoVA. On Rt 1, you're talking about Gum Springs lol. I just envision Malcolm talking about Old Town. You're right though - it's pockets of black folks in NoVA, not as black as DC and MD.
Yeah VA got Black folks and not just the foreign ones that are more visible. shyt, VA is arguably the first place Black folks were brought to so there’s a long history.
And she asking for buildings to go up close to the same height as the monument.
I’m so tired of that dumbass law, but they do need to build bigger buildings.
Real talk, to me what would stop gentrification and loosen up traffic is if there was a Mid-Atlantic high speed rail that’s actually on the level of Japan, Europe, China, etc. It would give people more options because commute times would be down. But of course, America in general is too stupid and hyper focused on money to think that efficiently.
