Granted(percentage wise) the numbers has decrease over the years, butYour people ain't take u out to any real DC spots. You prolly stayed downtown or went to spots like adams Morgan. Alexandria is a mix bag. If you were near route 1 Alexandria, there's tons of black folks there but the other side of Alexandria not as much.

Prince George’s County is chocolate county from what I heard. But DMV has the highest Salvadoran population in the US outside of Los Angeles. Most ppl don’t know that. So I could how that would be jarring. DC. District Of California.

OP the black neighborhoods are the following:
U Street (A lot of East Africans, particularly, Ethiopians and Eritreans)
Shaw (historically black neighborhood where jazz greats used to frequently tour)
Silver Spring MD
PG County MD (One of the wealthiest black counties in the states!)

To be fair, migos is all concentrated in one place they not all over the city. You won’t see them outside of Colombia Heights/14th street/Mt. Pleasant like that.
I’m sayin, none of the go to spots was hit. Alexandria ain’t no move if you wanna see Black people.

Northern VA is def not chocolate. The blacks you saw in Alexandria were probably from MD/DC lol
Lmaooo naw ima put a tiny bit of respect on VA name they do got that one historically Black part of Route 1 but that shyt look like a project surrounded by ultra expensive white folk property.
VA is wayyy too suburban and spread out for Black folks to be concentrated in one place but they there. Plus NoVA ji the most diverse part of the area, at least it’s arguable.
With all that said, you better off somewhere else if you looking for the Black experience. Shiiit, after another decade or so you prolly gon have to go to Baltimore or PG/Charles County to find the Black experience.
