And plenty more are actually nothing but European. The bulk of emigration from Europe to Brazil (and the rest of SA) took place just before and after the turn of the last century - the same as NA. Most didn't end up "mixed" just as most didn't end up "mixed" in the United States and Canada. SA was and is arguably more colour/"race" conscious than NA ever was.
