I think Samsung's Android >>>>> Google's Android to be honest.

The android UI guy duarte touched on the topic yesterday. im quoting him. he say its a struggle to keep simple while wanting to innovate because they dont want to complicate the UI for the OEM.

check him out in this video discussing the issue

Understood but that's why I said non intrusive changes. I'm not talking about redoing something major like the notification menu. Something like additional options on the power menu could be standard and configurable.

they do add stuff every major update. I agree with the small features that should be added like battery percentage and profiles. Key lime pie will be overhaul though its needed. ICS + JB was a combo. Key lime pie is that next step. I hope its a 5.0 and not 4.3. The OEM and carriers are slowing down google thats why 4.2 was a pit stop. No one was on 4.1.2 when 4.2 dropped now no one is on 4.2 and 5.0 is dropping in a 100 days. shyt is unreal

Offers more features but the slow updates can be a pain. The multi-window is :ahh:

Throw a launcher like nova and you're good to go.

The Iphone does still have the "premium feel", but Samsung is catching up.

None of the high end phones really pull ahead IMHO, its a matter of taste.

Had a run of three straight samsung android phones, the moment ( :gag: ) Transform ( :scusthov: ), Epic/GS1 ( :ehh: ) . This was after coming from a Samsung Instinct.

After the numerous GPS failures and overheating bs plus the early touchwiz stuff I decided it was time to leave the samsung fam
You couldn't be more spot on breh.

Samsung had a gun run, but im done with these guys. Worst call reception on a cell, and the gps issues never end.. then to add on theyre making their phone out of almost mostly plastic :scusthov:

The One X and upcoming One from HTC easily have better build quality than anything from Samsung.

Good run? They're running this android shiit.

And I've owned the Nexus S, S2, and now the Galaxy Note 2. I've never had issues with call reception and GPS.

Maybe their earlier models like the trash dude listed, but their shiit is on point now.

:comeon: breh i have the s3 and my call drops in my bed room but not in my living room. Gps takes more than a minute to lock if it does, i usually end up getting the tower location estimate. Compare that to a motorala device which rarely ever drops calls.

And no im not suggesting a moto phone, but im just speaking for myself in my last phones from samsung. S3, s2, and the epic4g. Consistently hot running gps locking up and call reception being less.

I remember my friend still had the evo 4g and i had the epic touch, we did a side by side in the same room and his data was more than twice of mines and with more bars. Samsung radios suck breh

*edit, im not hating the software, but the hardware has been consistently subpar quality. Processors been nice too, but the build quality and radios are very important as well
