I think Nintendo will bite the bullet this gen

For Nintendo to go to PC mean they would have to put more effort in the graphic quality of their games and y'all know damn well Nintendo don't give a fukk about graphics as much as Western developers do. That's another reason why they would rather jump to another console instead of PC. Think about it, when they did go to another platform they chose Mobile games, the least graphically impressive platform.
The only thing with Nintendo's design philosophy is their consoles tend to be much weaker than the competition so it makes emulation much faster and easier on PC. That's about the only time you'll be able to play a game on PC. Playing Switch games at 4K on PC was always a great feeling.

Nintendos game are built around console, and not just any console specifically handheld/hybrid type consoles. They aren’t made to be played hunched over a fukking desk tapping away on a keyboard.

They're made for kids, families, and old fans who grew up on those games. They cater to that market unopposed.
They're the Disney of the video game industry and they aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

Bro there internet network is janky if they had Mario kart online gaas it makes sense to put that on pc and make it cross play. Plus all the pc handhelds out there. Not saying every game they drop will be on PC but they are going to start testing the waters on it.
I think them going hard on emulation made them open their eyes to certain things. A million people downloaded Zelda tales of the kingdom before launch only way Nintendo can combat emulation in some way is start releasing games on the platform.

The only thing i could see nintendo do is release their 2nd party action games elsewhere, like Bayo 3 or Astral Blade. Just because those games tend to not sell that well on their consoles
