I feel the difference between the problems we faced back then and now seems to be that in today's world we have to fight an uphill battle with cosiderably less black self respect and group solidarity.

a moral and spiritual revolution is critical for our survival. Being beat down with the rod of white supremacy for so long I sometimes lose hope that we could overcome the virulant strain of antiblackness feed to us from the cradle to the grave.

You really know you're done when all these Blacks think that were winning. So there's no urgency to try to fix things.
