Why do you want wars against our brothers and sisters can't there be peace?

I don't mean physical war. I mean protecting and owning your own resources. practicing at least a little bit of nationalism. Isolation may not be good, but sh1t... allowing rape isn't either.

I hear you. Yeah, nationalism is a tricky thing though especially looking at Africa's history. It seems like countries there are finally working together to some extent. IF they could only get their own industries and education systems together. I dont't know what the answer is.

This is how I feel too. It makes me sad to be honest. All the riches in that continent and the majority of it controlled by others who look at the natives that live there like animals.

The thing people need to stop doing is looking at the whole continent collectively when it comes to analyzing their progress and development. There are 55 countries...some are moving forward on the right path, some are stagnant and some are hustling backwards.

France never left Africa so their intervention in the north cant be that much of a surprise.

Also every UN peace keeper that has set foot in Africa has done so for economic interests

We fight each other and then complain why the blue helmets are coming in SMH

There are UN troops in Somalia, Congo, Ivory Coast, Sudan, etc.

why?

because these peoples couldn't resist killing each other

you agree that in a conflict between 2 sides with opposing economic/political interests, the un has to take sides ie if they have guns they are shooting them at someone (and if they arent shooting why are they there)? That means they are either trying to overthrow the government or put down resistance. This may contribute to "stability" but is that a justification in and of itself? Either side they choose, I guarantee its good for business in the short or long term. And I dont mean small local business, I mean MNCs
