i think the lines of lyricism get blurred for certain rappers, and biggie is the poster-boy for this. biggie is more of a total package rapper. hes a great lyrically as well, but not on the pedestal that people tend to put his lyrics.

jay-z kinda alluded to this as well in that radio interview where he compared biggie to 50 cent. thats a bit steep, but im guessing that jay was just trying to think of a name on the spot and came up with 50. and the topic was lyricism. he caught flack for that but i understood exactly what he was saying.
