Personally listened to A.L.L.A today for first time, didn't finish album was working and listening to it but I'll be damned if I thought it was wack. My coworker told me about it at first asking if I heard it said he didn't like it and shyt was wack then he told me today it grew on him hard and he's been bumping it

Thoroughly enjoyed some of the tracks I heard, but like I said I haven't listened start to finish

Long.Live.A$AP is a hands-down top 10 album to me (90's baby), it always sounds so fresh to me

To each their own. I hope A$AP makes some type of material like LLA/or LPFJ2 more often, that's what I like from him.

In short based off first listen LLA > ALLA (personally)

Same here. I like it for what it is, new age nikka shyt. This is the type of music I want to listen to when I want to be on some ignorant shyt. And the production is exactly what I wanted certain aspects of hip hop music to evovle to. Bangin' album to me.

As far as being done, I think you might be right @SirBiatch. If he doesn't make them sales, its over for being on a major, and I think they are the ones who do a lot of the creative marketing, and promotions, which is also what makes Asap Rocky special. Who knows how things will go, though.

Rocky just never had that much staying power to begin with. He is what some on here like to call a flash in the pan.

No hate either, just my real opinion on him. This isn't some sort of newfound revelation either, people were saying that before his debut came out.

The whole Clams Casino/ Cloud rap sound never really took root.

I do think part of what made Live.Love special was that it didn't sound like anything else out there production-wise. The industry tends to have the same couple beatmakers on rolodex, so Rocky's album kind of sounded like it could've been anyone's album.

Lyrically though he's miles ahead of where he was when Live.Love dropped, for whatever that's worth.
