I think a "new black" movement is absolutely necessary

And what are 'Black' people spending their money on? Weaves, J's, and foreign-made cars that we can't even fix all the while borrowing exhorbitant amounts of money to attend institutions of higher learning that teach us we are inferior and to ignore our own history.

I'm all for the opinion that former slaves should have gotten reparations, and that would have led to a stronger black wealth timeline. Absolutely.

If those who actually slaved in that time period got them, that would have been amazing and I'm sure it would have been put to work. We probably wouldn't even be where we are now because we'd have some form of generational wealth to depend on. We're several generations back as far as power and wealth goes.
