If anything he (U) was just trying to say that Nip wasn't touched when he was under his management. He's just trying to pit shine on his muscle and street influence. Don't read so much into it that you're spinning something caught on film, into some crazy conspiracy.

If he didn't, then he damn sure didn't ACT like it at that banquet function held right before he passed, where Nip was given an award and asked for Big U to present it to him, then proceeded to give a glowing statement about Big U to the audience. There's really no impetus to front like that if you truly don't like or trust the guy, and especially not to ask that HE make the presentation to you.

I feel the exact same way. I wasn't too into him when alive.

But hindsight as happens messed me up.

I checked his music - loved it. Read his history, saw all these photos with him and greats - Ice Cube, Redman - and they all light up around him.

He had this energy. True high end spiritual vibes.

A beautiful family, beautiful photos. Just a great example of someone who made something out of nothing. Complete Hip Hop head.

I'm happy that Jay Z recognized him while he was living.
