I was sending beats with a hook done and a popular rapper heard it and said it was dope but he wanted to hear the rap we had for it(complete track, reference track). I was offended. Never knew that was part of the game.. Like you spend hours perfecting a beat, mix, master, manage to write a hook and this MF wants the bars too.. shyt was ether for a young beatmakers soul.
