San fran didnt have the money for manning, they just couldnt afford him. If he would have gone to san fran, it woulda been strictly for a championship. He said money wasnt an issue but if that was the case he wouldn't be doing commercials. Money is always an issue, he's made money but why wouldn't he want more?

I get it, nothing wrong with wanting the paper, but i thought at this point in his career he would've look to win championships. Doesn't he have some special contract to which if he got hurt again, he wouldn't receive part of his salary or something? We could've given him an incentive laced contact and paid him 9-10 million as a base salary.

Manning with the niners would've made up the prohibitive (sp) favorite to come out of the NFC. All facets of our team is strong, Defense, Special Teams, Running Game. Our passing game is still so so, but with Manning there we would have a damn near perfect team

doesn't change the fact that the road is alot easier in the AFC.

if New England get's home field advantage then it's a wrap in the AFC.

I know they're 2 games behind the texans, and 1 behind baltimore losing the tiebreaker, but those teams will hit hard spots while the pats have a cake schedule.

Yeah possibly but it still would have really been hell on the cap and would probably lose a couple of people. They probably thought it's better spent on the defense, thats just a guess tho. But yeah he has a clause that voids his contract if a neck injury takes him out

Not only the bolded but if not for a dropped TD New England loses to Flacco at home in the championship game last year. They lost to the Jets at home in the playoffs the year before. They've already lost to the Cardinals at home this year.

They haven't proven themselves against the top tier teams yet for you to say something like that.

And again, outside of NE, Baltimore and Houston who else is there? Whereas in the NFC there are 5 teams where I wouldn't be surprised if they were in the Superbowl.
