How quickly people forget that vick didnt exactly have good receivers in atl either. He had who? Alge Crumpler, peerless price, and brian finneran as his top guys. Then I wanna say he had roddy white as a rookie.

Alge Crumpler was a Pro Bowl caliber TE. made 4 of them in ATL

Peerless Price was overrated as fukk, Brian Finneran was at best, an overachieving #2 reciever.

Roddy White went from a :why: Pick with Vick there for 2 years....then making 4 pro bowls within the next 5 years without him.

people want to make excuses for why Vick isn't a good passer...when he's never actually worked on his craft til he turned 30.

Crumpler didn't do shyt after vick but eat tho. Plus white was a rookie and barely got on the field at first, that's why he didn't do anything while vick was there, second year white was still at best a 3rd option but he played well. I'm not saying vick was steve young out there, but he didn't necessarily have great receivers I mean if alge crumpler was your top guy and see that he couldn't start anywhere after vick left should say something. Most falcons fans can tell you that they depended on mike to do too much instead of building a balanced team like ryan has now. I will admit turner aint doin shyt now for real, but you cant compare what vick had to roddy white now, or tony gonzales, or julio.

Randall did it all back in the day. Punt, ran etc... Randall Cunningham back in the day was the man. Here is the thing as he got older he evolved. In 98 he was off the chain. Vick hasnt evolved (besides 2010 season) Randall is a pioneer in the game!

the only advantage Vick had was athleticism

Randall was a MUCH better passer in Philly than Vick ever was in his career.

.

Not really they are pretty similliar in that theyre strength throwing was the deep ball..touch passes accuracy and intermediate passes both were not very good at

lol at Cunningham out of the league becauae of racism this site never fails

Crump really wasn't no prime TE. He was solid but Vick made him much better. He was Vick's bailout option. Other then that you had guys like Finn, Gaylor, Dez White, Shawn Jefferson, and the awful Peerless Price. None of those guys were worth s**t. Peerless was a #3 trying to be a #1 in Atlanta. It didn't workout at all. As big a bust as Ray Edwards.

Roddy was terrible till Joe Horn taught him how to have great work ethic and his momma called him and said he sucked. Michael Jenkins average ass was better. No lie. Roddy improved like hell that off-season. Took Football serious. Vick worked on it at first but with Knapp and Mora :shaq2: That dude got lazy.

:whoa: Hold on boss. Randall threw for 30 td's and ran over 900 yards in 1990. Cunningham was beastin years before minny.

That was rare year. Look at his other years and they didn't come close to that till 98.

Cunningham was out of football because of racism.

No, Randall was out of Football for the similar reasons that VY is out of Football. They didn't think he can throw. He wasn't nothing like Vick in that regard, coaches, scouts and executives think Vick can throw. They just don't think he can stay healthy.

I agree, Cunningham was held the ball too long, had below average short and mid range accuracy, wasn't uber playmaker and wasn't the smartest QB in the tree. He didn't have Vick's cannon, speed, and agility either. Cunningham is just a more advanced version of Colin K. Him and Vick have similarities but Vick is more talented.

To say racism is dumb. That's like Warren Moon talking about why he wasn't drafted as a QB because of racism. Fool, the first QB taken in your draft was a Black QB from the SWAC. :snoop:
