:manny: Vick didn't say that, but you will get the point:
Vick credited Mike Shanahan with properly using Griffin. ”You can have a guy with all the talent in the world, but if you don’t know how to use it, what’s the point? So a lot of credit to Mike Shanahan, and a lot of credit to RGIII, staying true to his game.”
Vick may have been speaking wistfully. He is likely to be released by the Eagles after the season and he’d like to be used the way RGIII is, even if that sounds like wishful thinking at this point in a career that was marred by poor personal decisions.
“I wouldn’t mind,” he said. “That’s what I did in Atlanta, and I did a lot of it in 2010 here. But then the offense kind of changed a little bit. [Offensive line] Coach [Howard] Mudd got here, so I had to deal with what I was dealing with, trying to make the most of it.
“I’m a big RGIII fan,” Vick told Jarrett Bell of USA Today. “He reminds me of what I do. I’m the originator of everything that’s transpired in the league with the style of quarterback. It makes it gratifying to me.
:rudy: Vick is my dude, but does this nikka not know who Randall Cunningham or even Tobin Rote? :comeon: :ehh: :wow: Imagine if Vick dedicated himself to the game early on in his career like he did during that great season 2 season ago with the Eagles :ohlawd:

The mutha****in BX
if he means having the offense tailored to his strengths, then he's correct.

the eagles had randall dropping back with a shytty O-line and taking 60 sacks a year.

even if you think he a bum Vick did open the door for the "athlete" to get a shot at qb

before him it was a no brainer to switch these type of qbs to RB/WR/S or whatever

even Eric Crouch who the media loved to death couldnt get a shot at qb no matter how much he begged

Vick was that n*gga and one of the best players in the NFL for a couple of years in the A.
:pacspit:

bullshyt with a Capital B. he always underperformed. If Vick had worked on his game(mechanics), study film and things like that, he would have been one of the best Qbs ever.

RGIII in his first yr. tops anything Vick has ever done. Even in 2010, it was a wrap for him once DCs started blitzing his ass.

so randall cunningham didn't exist? :comeon:
the Eagles did not create an offense to utilize Randall's running. Neither did San Fran.

Vick's Run DVD offense in Atlanta was the first ive ever seen do it, and do it successfully.

I've never seen one player who's done so little be as praised as vick

Because he did change the game. nikka was super fast at QB. Randal had legs, but not like Vick. Vick still got a lot of ball in him. He was progressing before he went behind the walls.
