Vick didn't say that, but you will get the point:
Vick credited Mike Shanahan with properly using Griffin. You can have a guy with all the talent in the world, but if you dont know how to use it, whats the point? So a lot of credit to Mike Shanahan, and a lot of credit to RGIII, staying true to his game.
Vick may have been speaking wistfully. He is likely to be released by the Eagles after the season and hed like to be used the way RGIII is, even if that sounds like wishful thinking at this point in a career that was marred by poor personal decisions.
I wouldnt mind, he said. Thats what I did in Atlanta, and I did a lot of it in 2010 here. But then the offense kind of changed a little bit. [Offensive line] Coach [Howard] Mudd got here, so I had to deal with what I was dealing with, trying to make the most of it.
Vick is my dude, but does this nikka not know who Randall Cunningham or even Tobin Rote? Imagine if Vick dedicated himself to the game early on in his career like he did during that great season 2 season ago with the EaglesIm a big RGIII fan, Vick told Jarrett Bell of USA Today. He reminds me of what I do. Im the originator of everything thats transpired in the league with the style of quarterback. It makes it gratifying to me.
