Just watched the series. I'm a huge sports fan but didn't trust a show dedicated to sports. I was wrong. If you can look past most of cast being sophomores in the first season when they seem like seniors and all the drop stories it's a great show(no sarcasm)

I'm probably the only person on Earth that loved the show but hated Riggins, Saracen, and Smash... shyt is weird. In fact, I disliked A LOT of the individual characters, but it came together so lovely.

nikkas hatin on riggins the gawd now? Lyla wasn't a hoe,but riggins turned her into one then she got born again while he did more bad stuff and still pulled her. Riggins is that hood nikka you know with talent out the ass that ain't really want to use it to get anywhere because they already had everything they really wanted in life.

Like I said in the other FNL thread they had a lot of plotholes in the script especially what grades theses dude were in. East Dillon being closed,the mailbox,Julies 5 year high school career,riggins never going to school, never being expelled and still being eligible, why the BBQ owner was so anti football even though he was a former player and having his sons play. It felt like they switched writers every few episodes. They should've done a better job showing street being the #1 player in the country more believable. They showed like 2 plays and one was a career ending interception then his never played backup comes in and looks like Joe Montana. Eric Taylor is the goat TV coach though.

One thing I hated is how they turned McCoy from a conflicted character in season 3 to a straight up a$$hole in season 4. Writers took the easy way out with that one.
