the thing that really bothered me was the ages of the kids. the 1st year Landry was drivin Matt around but he was a freshman and matt a sophomore. and Tim was the same age as Matt but he seemed to be playing longer due to his and Street relationship. everyone's age always threw me off

I think the writer (or creator, whatever) said that Tim was supposed to have been the same age as Street in the beginning, but they wanted to keep him as a high schooler so they just conveniently acted like he was a sophomore all along. And I don't think they counted season 2 against the kids' ages either.
